Terms of Use
By creating an account or using Recreat, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Recreat.
Who can use Recreat
You must be at least 13 years old. You're responsible for keeping your account secure and for everything posted from it.
No tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users
Recreat is for sharing food. You agree not to post, comment, or use a username that:
- is hateful, harassing, bullying, threatening, or discriminatory;
- contains nudity, sexual content, graphic violence, or anything dangerous or illegal;
- is spam, a scam, misleading, or impersonates someone else;
- you don't have the right to share, such as someone else's photo; or
- shares other people's private information.
You can report posts, comments, and users, and block anyone, from the ••• menu. We review reports within 24 hours. We remove content that breaks these rules and may suspend or permanently remove the accounts responsible, without notice.
Your content
You keep ownership of the photos and other content you post. By posting, you give Recreat a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and share that content within the app and through links you or others share, for as long as it stays on Recreat. Deleting a post or your account ends this license for that content.
AI-generated recipes: food safety
Recipes are generated by AI from a photo and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or different from how the dish was actually made. In particular, ingredient lists may be missing allergens, and cooking times and temperatures may not be safe as written.
- Always check ingredients yourself if you or anyone you're cooking for has a food allergy or dietary restriction.
- Follow standard food-safety practices, including cooking meat, poultry, seafood, and eggs to safe internal temperatures.
- Use your own judgment. Recipes are provided for general inspiration, not as professional, nutritional, or medical advice.
Acceptable use
Don't misuse Recreat. For example, don't try to access other people's accounts, interfere with or overload the service, scrape it, or use it to build a competing product.
Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time under Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or end your access if you break these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
Recreat is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Recreat and its operators are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any harm arising from preparing or eating food based on recipes in the app.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know in the app. Continuing to use Recreat after changes take effect means you accept them.
Apple
These terms are between you and Recreat, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for Recreat or its content, and has no obligation to provide support for it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them.
